Mike Ockerby worked for the ABC for more than two decades, in TV, radio and online. His work with Auntie took him around Australia – from Tasmania, to the Northern Territory, to South Australia. He’s also worked for the National Museum of Australia and the Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association, and done plenty of proofreading, editing and rewriting for corporate and private clients. His love of language – and people – has also led him into the marriage celebrancy business; it’s another forum where his words can shine.
